Paediatrics physio referrals
At PhysKids, we work collaboratively with healthcare and allied health professionals to provide specialist physiotherapy services for babies, children and teenagers.

Our broad paediatric expertise allows us to accept referrals across developmental, neurological, disability, orthopaedic, rehabilitation and complex care needs, providing a trusted referral pathway for children with both straightforward and more complex presentations.
Refer a child to PhysKids
We welcome referrals from:
- paediatricians
- GPs
- orthopaedic surgeons and specialists
- occupational therapists
- speech pathologists
- other allied health and healthcare professionals.
To refer a child, simply complete the referral form below with the relevant clinical and contact information.

Our team will review the referral and contact the parent or caregiver directly to arrange an appropriate appointment. We'll also confirm receipt of your referral.
When to refer
PhysKids provides paediatrics physio services for children aged from birth to 18 years across a broad range of presentations. You may consider referring a child for:
- developmental or gross motor concerns
- congenital conditions
- neurological conditions
- disability and complex care
- musculoskeletal or orthopaedic conditions
- pain or mobility concerns
- sports injuries
- post-operative and injury rehabilitation
- gait concerns, including toe walking
- serial casting
- strength, balance or coordination concerns
- assessment and ongoing physiotherapy management.
Collaborative care
We understand the importance of communication between the professionals involved in a child's care.

Our physiotherapists work collaboratively with families, specialists and allied health professionals to develop practical treatment plans based on each child's presentation, goals and broader care needs. Where appropriate, we can also recommend hydrotherapy through Flipper Academy as part of the child's physiotherapy plan.
